Pam

Pamela Barratt White

Starting at NASA, Mrs. White lived and worked the history of putting the man on the moon and the advent of the computer as well as missile-defense systems development, missile intelligence, and the Strategic Defense Initiative of the Reagan years. Mrs. White, a Louisville, Kentucky native and former Air Force dependent, has lived in varied places across the United States and England, but considers Huntsville home since 1967 when she transferred from San Diego State College to Auburn University. She regards engineers highly, saying:

“I believe engineers of all disciplines are among the most creative people I know. They do and must think creatively. SDI is at the cutting edge today in defense technology because of these fine minds that combine creative thinking with excellent technical skills. I intend to afford this great brain trust of ours at SDI every opportunity to parlay their innovation into fine defense solutions.”
