Tennessee Valley Corridor Board of Directors Welcomes New Member from Alabama

Lisa Williams, CEO of SDI in Huntsville, AL, was recently appointed to the Tennessee Valley Corridor Board of Directors to represent Congressman Mo Brooks and Alabama’s Fifth Congressional District.

 

The organization links together the public and private sector joining assets of ten congressional districts for new high-tech job creation.

Williams is the President and CEO of System Dynamics International (SDI) based in Huntsville, Ala. She was previously the co-founder and president of 3D Research Corporation in Huntsville.

“We are so fortunate to have Lisa joining our board,” said Doug Fisher, chairman of the Tennessee Valley Corridor Board of Directors. “She brings great leadership and expertise to the board and her knowledge and experience in the private sector on issues related to research, development and seeming national defense missions will only help us advance the reputation of the Tennessee Valley Corridor as one of the nation’s premier science and technology regions.”

The Tennessee Valley Corridor (TVC) is a multi-state regional economic development organization from North Alabama through East and Middle Tennessee into Southwest Virginia, Western North Carolina and Southern and Eastern Kentucky. It is dedicated to promoting the Tennessee Valley Corridor as one of the nation’s premier science and technology centers, and to leveraging the Valley’s abundant research and technology assets and institutions for maximum regional economic development and new job creation.
