J. Brandi White
President & Chief Executive Officer
Ms. White became SDI's Chief Executive Officer as SDI celebrated its 40th anniversary in June 2019. In January 2023, she assumed the dual role of President & CEO upon the retirement of esteemed SDI President, Forrest Davis. She's been closely involved in the executive management of SDI as a shareholder and member of the board for many years, since the passing of long-tenured SDI President and CEO, JC White, her father, in 2010. Honored for the opportunity to assume the mantle of his leadership, she feels great personal commitment to the people of SDI and to the service of our DOD customers. As the standard-bearer of SDI's legacy, preserving and strengthening SDI's stellar reputation in military aviation and ensuring we always operate with great integrity are the driving forces behind all she does.
Prior to her role at SDI, she spent 21 years as the owner and Creative Director of a design firm serving a wide range of industries in North Alabama and beyond. A Huntsville native, Ms. White is immensely proud of Huntsville's world-renowned legacy of defense and aerospace innovation and of SDI’s role in it for more than four decades.
Anthony P. Ward
Vice President, Business Development & Operations
Mr. Andy Ward joined SDI in January 2014 as the Director for Corporate Business Development. Mr. Ward is a veteran of the United States Air Force and served 10 years where he completed multiple deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Mr. Ward graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science where he majored in Business Administration and minored in Information Systems Technologies. He is also PMP certified. Later, Mr. Ward worked as a contractor in support of Operation New Dawn and Operation Enduring Freedom throughout Afghanistan and Iraq for over 2 years. He went on to become a program manager supporting various unmanned aircraft systems operating in OCONUS locations. Since July 2016, Mr. Ward has served SDI as the Vice President for Business Development & UAS Programs.
Dana Cantrell
Vice President, Business Operations
Mrs. Dana Cantrell joined System Dynamics International in July 2008 as an Accountant after graduating from Faulkner University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in December 2006. She worked for several years in the Accounting and Finance Department, then transferred to the Contracts Department to work as the Contracts Administrator. She advanced to the Director of Contracts in May 2015. Mrs. Cantrell was promoted to her current role as Corporate Controller in September 2017. Mrs. Cantrell is an experienced leader with over ten years of government contracting experience supporting the DoD and is a graduate of the Crestcom® Bullet Proof® Manager Program. She has led SDI through the implementation of software and hardware infrastructure such as DELTEK CostPoint, Concur Travel and Expense, and payroll conversion through ADP. She has been married for over 15 years to her husband Adam and they have two children.
